The following groups have been active

Questionnaire

Juliet Moore, Emily Neighbour, Philip Booth, Martin Goetz-Jablonowski

Result presentation @ Village Fayre 17/18 June 2000

Communication

Jack Dent, Philip Booth, Brian Lawrence

The essential communication we are concerned with is , of course, the Bulletin. This summarises the proceedings of the meetings so as to keep everyone informed of what is going on and what we are planning. It is also the hope that it will keep the whole project before you and prompt you to give us the benefit of your input. Up to now the Bulletins have been hand-delivered , so to speak, and as mentioned above this procedure is very difficult for so few of us. One proposal is that future Bulletins would be published in the Parish Magazine and copies of the Bulletin be left in village shops and put on notice-boards. Your views would be appreciated. However, the questionnaire will be delivered and collected.

Sponsorship

Eve Dixon, Andy and Carol Robinson

Funds where acquired by various resources. The start was made by KRCC with £500. This will help with running costs at present very low. However, in the long-term more will be required to produce the Guide in order for it to be available for everyone. The subgroup will be looking at ways of getting sponsorship to cover the publishing costs.

Photographic Workshop

David Ackerman, Mary Yardley, Barbara Jablonowski, David Antoine, Brian Lawrence

The aim of the whole Group is to try to ensure that new developments notwithstanding, we can promote a sustainable village life-style. To achieve this we need to record and display the architectural detail and local nuances you would like to see in new developments. The sub-group will be organising a workshop to explain and plan a detailed photography exercise in and around the village. We will be giving everybody the opportunity to record and present those aspects and details of Hamstreet that they feel are important, or even that they dislike. Older photographs of Hamstreet would also be of use to the project.
